Abstract

Herein we describe the record of Gruñidor de El Volcán Pristidactylus volcanensis in a new locality, on the road to Embalse El Yeso, in the Metropolitan region (Chile), which extends its known geographic distribution (with only four previous localities) 5,8 km north. This is the first record of this Endangered species in the Yeso River sub-basin, tributary of the Maipo River.
