Abstract

The presence of Tebenna micalis (Mann, 1857) in Chile is reported for the first time. Specimens collected from three locations in central Chile were identified by examination of morphological and molecular data. A morphological description, photographs of the adults, and genital structures of male and female are provided. The presence of this species in Chile represents the first record of the family Choreutidae in the country.
